Breastfeeding in Wolverhampton

Most women breastfeed at birth, but many stop earlier than they planned. Breastfeeding is the normal and natural way to feed your baby, but that doesn’t mean it always comes easily and lots of women stop breastfeeding before they want to. So, if you are thinking about breastfeeding it is a good idea to find out how to get off to a good start, know the signs your baby is feeding well and where to get help if you need support because you are not alone.

If You’re Worried About Your Baby

Parents should call NHS 111 or see a GP urgently if concerned. Babies under six months can be checked using the The Lullaby Trust – Baby Check app.
