Nominate outstanding RWT staff

Crowd gathered at least year's Caring for All Awards event.

Patients, their families, and carers will be able to nominate a staff member or team within The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust for an award that recognises outstanding personalised care and compassion.

Every year the Trust runs an internal staff recognition awards event which highlights innovation, improvements within teams and services, and staff who exemplify the behaviours outlined in the organisation’s Behavioural Framework – Kind, Listening, Inclusive and Professional.

This year’s Caring for All Awards includes the Royal Award category, which is now open to the public.

Nominations for this award should highlight an inspirational individual or team that consistently make a difference – going above and beyond to ensure quality care and positive experiences – in hospital, community or primary care.

Dr Claire Radley, Group Chief People, Culture and Improvement Officer, said: “This is an opportunity to celebrate those staff who’ve made a positive impact on your care and treatment.

“Our staff work incredibly hard to look after the people of Wolverhampton and further afield, whether they’re in a clinical role or a supporting service. It’s important that we pause to recognise their efforts.

“If you know someone who has gone the extra mile, having helped you and/or your loved ones, why not say thank you by sharing your stories and experiences. We look forward to hearing more about their efforts.”

All nominations should be submitted before 10pm on Friday 5 July 2026 – the NHS’ 78th birthday.

Access the online form here.

Posters will be on display around the Trust sites with QR codes and instructions on how to submit a paper copy. Staff can also assist with obtaining forms.

The winner will be announced at an event later this year.
