Digital Innovation Unit

We are a multi-disciplinary team supporting delivery of digital innovation across The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Walsall Healthcare Trust.

Our primary focus is implementing digital technologies to enhance staff workflows and patient care. We are involved from the early stages of project planning to ensure digital compliance and alignment with strategic goals.

Our aims include:

• Supporting the implementation of digital innovation that enhances patient and staff experience
• Developing integrated systems that connect Acute, Primary Care, and Community services. enabling a single, accurate view of patient information to support seamless care.
• Improving digital literacy across the organisation and local communities

We are a remote-based team, working flexibly across The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Walsall Healthcare Trust. While we primarily operate virtually, we attend service locations in person as required to provide hands-on support. This approach enables us to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of teams across Acute, Primary Care, and Community settings.
