Who we are

Working with partners

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. That’s why it’s one of our ‘four Cs’ – which underpin the goals and strategic direction of our organisation. Read more about our strategy.

We share these four Cs with Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. The strategic partnership between our two organisations means we can share resources and expertise, giving our patients greater choice and improved access to a wider range of services.

We work with a variety of organisations – at local, regional and national level – to ensure we are delivering high quality care to our patients and communities in Wolverhampton, the Black Country, and surrounding areas.

There are many different ways in which partnership working helps us to deliver our ambitions.

Our work with local health and social care partners ensures that people receive the right care at the right time – focusing on prevention and helping people to stay well for longer.

The work we do with the academic and commercial sectors helps us continually learn about new approaches to care and treatment, introduce new technology and digital solutions, and develop the next generation of talented NHS staff.

Our local partnerships and networks

We are part of the Black Country Integrated Care System, Healthier Futures, working closely with partners from across the NHS, local authorities, and the voluntary and community sector, with the shared aim of improving health outcomes, tackling health inequalities and delivering better, more efficient and more joined-up care for people across the Black Country. Visit the Healthier Futures website.

We are a core member of our local Place-based Partnership, OneWolverhampton, which brings together organisations at a local level to arrange and deliver healthcare that best meets the needs of people across our city. You can learn more about OneWolverhampton by visiting the OneWolverhampton website.

We are one of four NHS Trusts that make up the Black Country Provider Collaborative, working together to provide better, faster and safer care to more than 1.3 million people across the Black Country and beyond. Find out more on the BCPC website.

Our Trust is also proud to host the following partners, with whom we work closely on a variety of projects and programmes that directly benefit our patients and service users. Click the links below to visit their websites:
