Urgent and Emergency Care

Open 24 hours a day, the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is situated above the Emergency Department at New Cross Hospital. The UTC provides care and treatment to people with minor accidents, or illnesses that don’t need emergency treatment, such as cuts, sprains and rashes.

Patients who attend the Emergency Department, and do not need emergency treatment, may be transferred to the UTC or another specialist service.

We have another Urgent Treatment Centre at the Phoenix Health Centre.
