Wellbeing and support

Staff wellbeing

The wellbeing of our staff is extremely important to us. Whether you work in a clinical or non-clinical role, your mental, physical and emotional safety is a priority when you are prioritising patients and colleagues on a daily basis.

We have an extensive wellbeing offer – more details can be found in our dedicated intranet section (you must be logged onto a Trust computer or device to view this).

Community

We are proud to serve the diverse communities that make up Wolverhampton, and are committed to improving the lives of local people.

We also employ staff from a range of different backgrounds and celebrate the diversity this brings to our workforce.

We expect all our staff to live our Trust values and share our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

We have a number of networks, which we call employee voice groups, that aim to give our staff a deeper sense of belonging and allow them to be their authentic selves when they come to work. These include:

  • LGBTQ+
  • Black, Asian and minority ethnic
  • Carers
  • Disability and long-term conditions
  • Armed Forces

Family friendly

We are proud to offer flexible working and family friendly policies, to support you to have a work/life balance.

We offer childcare benefits in the form of vouchers, discounted childcare, and many discounted days out.

Career development

We pride ourselves on developing our staff and helping them to achieve their goals.

RWT is a great place to grow and develop, both professionally and personally.

We offer a range of apprenticeship, training, and development opportunities to suit your area of work and aspirations. Whether you are at the start of your career, want to progress in your team, or are looking to go in a different direction – there is something for everyone.
