Our recruitment process

Candidate onboarding

Congratulations! You are one step closer to starting your new role and becoming an employee of the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. We are really looking forward to you joining our organisation and we hope to make your transition as smooth as possible.

You will have now received your conditional offer letter, which confirms all the important information you need to know, as well advising you on the next steps.

We all know how daunting it can be when you join a new team or organisation. In these web pages you can read lots of information that will support you to prepare for joining us, so you can fit in, feel part of the team, and work safely and effectively from the start.

Please take the time to explore the information in these pages, and if we have missed anything you would find useful, please let our Resourcing Team know.

Mandatory training

Mandatory Training is an essential part of working in the NHS and is a requirement to fulfil both internal and external standards. As a member of RWT it is compulsory for you to complete all mandatory training relevant to your role and keep it up to date.

You will receive information on how to access our learning platform (My Academy) via email from our Resourcing Team before you start.

You are not required to complete any training before your start date, but you are welcome to explore My Academy for all other learning opportunities available.

Freedom to Speak Up

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is committed to:

  • Creating a culture of openness and transparency
  • Developing a culture where speaking up becomes normal practice
