All employees of RWT must wear their Trust issued ID badge at all times. You will be provided with your ID badge as close to your first day as possible. However, to process your ID badge, we will need you to email us some information, as well as a digital photo.

What do I need to send?
You will need to send an electronic photograph of yourself, along with your name, work location and line manager’s name.
Requirements for digital photos
The quality of your digital photo must be:
- clear and in focus
- in colour
- unaltered by computer software or filters
What your digital photo must show
- include your head, shoulders and upper body only
- may not contain any other objects or people
- be taken against a plain light-coloured background
- be in clear contrast to the background
- not have ‘red eye’
In your photo you must:
- be facing forwards and looking straight at the camera
- have your eyes open and visible as much as possible. Please do not wear sunglasses
- not have hair in front of your eyes
- not have anything covering your face
- not have any shadows on your face or behind you

Please do not crop your photo – it will be done for you.
Where do I get my ID badge from?
If you are based at New Cross Hospital, you will be required to pick this from Medical Illustration (location C27) on your first day, or as near to your first day as possible.
Alternatively, if you are based at Cannock, West Park or a community site, this will be posted to your manager.
