E-cigarettes allow you to inhale nicotine in a vapour rather than smoke; they do not burn tobacco and do not produce tar or carbon monoxide. These are two of the most damaging elements in tobacco smoke.
They carry a fraction of the risk of tobacco use and have been successful in helping many people to quit smoking.

Vaping while at work
Those who wish to use e-cigarettes at work can do so in the allocated ‘Quit Zones’ (formerly the old smoking shelters).
Please note:- Staff will be expected to charge their e-cigarettes at home and not in work
- In the same way that cigarettes breaks are not permitted, you will not be given additional time for vaping. We ask that you use your allocated breaks and make use of the Quit Zones
